Sinopsis

Buku ini memang membahas khusus kitab Roma, Galatia, Efesus dan Kolose yang memiliki pekabaran yang terkait satu sama lain yaitu: Pembenaran oleh Iman melalui kasih karunia Yesus Kristus.  Ini dapat dilihat dalam Roma 1:16,17 yang berbunyi: “Sebab aku mempunyai keyakinan yang kokoh dalam Injil, karena Injil adalam kekuatan Allah yang menyelamatkan setiap orang yang percaya, pertama-tama orang Yahudi, tetapi juga orang Yunani.  Sebab di dalamnya nyata kebenaran Allah, yang bertolak dari iman dan memimpin kepada iman, seperti ada tertulis: Orang benar akan hidup oleh iman” (band. Galatia 3:11).  Memang topik ini juga yang menjadi dasar pekabaran rasul Paulus di seluruh surat-surat yang ditulisnya sambil memberikan jawaban kepada persoalan-persoalan yang dihadapi jemaat-jemaat baik dalam hal teologis maupun praktik hidup sebagai pengikut Kristus.
